I love the inappropriate uses of pie segment, and perhaps I may suggest a related one? A sort of "This Product Not Intended For..." and chronicle items used in ways not intended by the manufacturer.

1. Athletes without specific teams will of course be included. (although I do believe news of Alexei has been slow)
3. Sort of, maybe point out interesting things that happened, Resolved or Unresolved Sexual Tension, how the epi affects certain OTPs...
4. Certainly, movie picks. But I think it should be an all-around good movie, not "it sucked but Actor X was good/hot." That should be for the actor updates.
5. I like the idea of suggestive words, but I love unintentionally suggestive words. Like "plethora"
7. Agree on the email address
8. I agree on the music thing, but we might have trouble playing the music. There are things we can't play because they're copyrighted. We can't even sing them. But I think there is some kind of database full of music that can be played in podcasts. There should be some sort of excursion to find this mythical database.
9. I could go with a theme song, but I am musically retarded. So you would have to handle that. Maybe handbells?
10. Yeah, we need to make sure it's known what people will hear if they listen in...
I am frivolous with my money, so I probably have only about $80. But I can look into the kind of equipment we would need. Search for the best deal and such.
1. Yes, the theme should be decided first, then the motto and theme song and catch phrase.
1b. The motto = Latin, to make us sound refined, and the catch phrase = Spanish because it's easier to speak and sounds, generally, catchier.
2. I dunno about the diction. I'd like to forget diction ever existed. If you're married to the idea, however, we can go with it.
3. Do we have a segment about generally weird things in the news? If not, I think we should. Or a strangely worded headline, something like "Man beats boy with dog." But weirder.
